The True Story Behind the Legend of Azzurrina

In 1375, a young albino girl named Guendalina vanished inside the icehouse of Montebello Castle during a storm, while chasing a rag ball.

No one ever found her.

Over time, her disappearance became a legend. Every June 21st, some say they still hear her crying or laughing from the depths of the castle.

Was it a ghost? Or just a story passed down through generations?

Either way, Azzurrina lives on—as a symbol of mystery, difference, and the longing to simply be seen.
